Intro

I just finished reading the book “Steve Jobs” by Walter Isaacson. And I want to say this book was like a movie! It was very pleasant to perceive who was Steve Jobs. Not just as the founder of Apple but as a visionary designer and marketer. I think “almost” everyone knows who he is. I don’t want to tell the story of the book or even go deeper. But, I just want to share what inspired me in this book, his vision, his design, and his mindset. His vision was more important to make. His mindset was he knew it was gonna be big and of course, in his design, he didn’t build Apple by himself. All I’m saying is that Steve Jobs was a man who believe in his ideas more than anything else and maybe he knew unknowingly what the world needed.

HIS MINDSET

Steve Jobs was never interested in getting rich. His goal was to build something that he believe. It wasn’t about creating a company but making something big and beautiful. He was very demanding because he knew what people needed instead of what they wanted. He believes that there are creative people like him to change the world.

HIS DESIGN

His passion was just making a great product, not by money or competition. Apple products should be clean and simple. This reminds us of Apple’s first brochure in 1977: “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”. He was serious and passionate about the minimalist. “Creativity” for Steve Jobs included the Apple team and the customers together. That is why they found this approach “crazy one” who “thinks different”. “Design” for Steve Jobs was more than a beautiful product on the cover. It was deeper. Like he said: “The better way is to go deeper with the simplicity, to understand everything about it and how it is manufactured. You have to deeply understand the essence of the product to be able to get rid of the parts that are not essential.”

HIS VISION

In his childhood, he knew he was special, the chosen one like the big names Einstein or Gandhi. Steve Jobs was very persistent to convince people about anything. The word “Impossible”, he didn’t know it because he did the impossible. He knew that his journey was the reward. After setbacks, rejections, and pain, one day Apple’s company will be brighter. His value was very important to him, especially to the people with who he surrendered. When I was reading this book, I noticed that the word “FOCUS” was very present. Whatever the circumstance in his life, Steve Jobs didn’t let anybody or anything disturb him or his goal.
